1 plaid shirt, 2 ways.

I spotted this plaid shirt in H&M a couple of weeks ago, mainly because of it’s longer than usual length. I figured I could wear it with jeans or as a dress with tights. I love pieces that can be worn multiple ways, you could tie it around your waist with distressed denim or pair it with shorts or a skirt tucked into the front. The possibilities are endless.
I left the shirt open when paired with black denim and a black tank and black pointy toed booties to keep the look elongated. The shirt is cut pretty straight so I liked it better open over a tank to prevent me from looking too boxy. With the tights, I added the faux leather jacket to give the look a little more dimension and black booties with a stacked heel for some height. I’m not that tall (5’3″) so I need all the help I can get.

I also added this necklace I got from Zara a couple of years ago, I really like a statement necklace with a higher neckline.
Anyway, I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I hope it’s wonderful and filled with family, friends, and good food. 🙂
