Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso Review

I’ve seen a couple of style bloggers wearing the Stila Stay All Day liquid lipstick in Beso and it always looks gorgeous. I put it on my Christmas list and got it yesterday and was so excited to use it I broke it out today. I love a red lip, but keeping it looking good throughout the day takes some work. Touching up on the go with a toddler is just not possible most of the time and walking around with a faded red lip is not cute. I wanted to put it to the test today and judge it’s lasting power.

Stila ‘Beso’ swatched

Beso is described as a ‘true red’ and is more blue based in tone. It comes with a flat doe foot applicator, but I think you’d want a lip brush for more precise application at the lip line. It applies smoothly and opaque, and dries to a matte finish. It doesn’t initially feel super drying, but as the day wore on I was starting to get an itch for some lip balm. But, I didn’t find it to be overly drying as some matte lipsticks can be. It will transfer a bit so be careful if you’re getting dressed after putting it on. Although it does wear off some with eating and drinking, it’s not so much that I’d feel the need to immediately reapply. Enough color still adheres to the lips so that it’s only really noticeable if you look up close. Also, it didn’t emphasize any dryness I’ve been having on my lips.

Stila ‘Beso’

I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a red lipstick that is long wearing. If you try it out, let me know what you think!
